During the last four months, Professor Brian Kelly had a solo exhibition of his prints at the Baton Rouge Gallery in Baton Rouge. He also gave a live printing demonstration at the Hilliard Art Museum in conjunction with the Marais Press: 20 Years of Importing a Campus and a Collection Exhibition. Kelly also was featured in season 7, episode 6 of PBS’s “Gallery America” television series, which airs on Oklahoma’s QETA/PBS television stations. QETA/PBS is America’s most-watched PBS service network.

This fall, Professor Kelly will have work included in international and national exhibitions at Illinois State University and Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Kelly’s prints were also included in “Matriarch,” a national printmaking portfolio organized by the University of Colorado. Additionally, this fall Kelly will be a visiting artist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Alabama. While on each campus he will present his personal research and give demonstrations in techniques associated with stone and plate lithography.
