Call for Entries

The Department of Visual Arts is accepting submissions for the 2024 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition from March 20 - April 3, 2025

Eligibility

This exhibition is open to currently enrolled at UL Lafayette Students with a declared major or minor in Visual Arts or Art, regardless of where they are in the program, an opportunity for their creative efforts to be recognized. All Visual Arts/Art Education majors and minors are encouraged to submit. Any original artwork may be submitted, whether a class project or completed independently. All media is accepted. Work must be produced within the last two calendar years. Each student may submit three works with $20 fee. One image per entry – no details or multiple views. The Juror will request additional images of 3-D works if needed.

Juror

Sesthasak Boonchai

Sesthasak Boonchai is an artist and educator based in New Orleans. He received an MFA from the University of New Orleans and has taught at NOCCA|Riverfront, The University of New Orleans, Delgado Community College, Tulane University and The School of Visual Arts, New York. His work is in a number of public and private collections including The Ogden Museum of Southern Art and The New Orleans Museum of Art. He is currently President of the New Orleans Photo Alliance.
