Department of Visual Arts Graphic Design students walked away with 11 awards during this years Annual Acadiana Advertising Federation Acadiana ADDY competition held in February.

Department students winning awards this year were Carson Smith (3 Gold ADDY Awards), Ryan Stelly (Best of Show and a Gold ADDY Award), Taylor Cambell (Special Judges Award – Concept and a Gold ADDY Award), Jordan Hoyt (Student Silver ADDY), Emily Frederickson (Student Silver ADDY), Tyler Darbonne (Student Silver ADDY) and David Blum (Student Silver ADDY).
The AAF Student American Advertising Awards Competition is a unique national awards program designed specially for college students. Students receiving a Gold ADDY at the local level automatically move up to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the country.
