Studio Art

A studio minor provides the student with a strong introduction to the foundations  in drawing and design that are applicable to all of the visual arts, from painting and photography to digital imaging, sculpture and much more. Students have the option to take courses in a diverse range of concentrations as well as in art history that can be tailored to their specific interests. All professions solicit and benefit from individuals who possess skill sets in critical thinking and analytical problem solving that a minor in visual arts courses affords. Studio minors are available to non-visual arts majors only.
