Marais Press is an editioning press housed in the Department of Visual Arts with in the College of the Arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Established in 1991, through funds provided by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Alumni Association, Marais Presses mission is to encourage the experimentation, and foster artist/student collaborations in the printmaking medium.

National and regional artists are invited to Marais Press each year to collaborate with printmaking students in the production of print editions, present printmaking demonstrations and or lectures in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. All of these activities are open to the university population and general public.
